Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology Clinic RN for a day-shift outpatient role in Charlotte, NC. Active NC or Compact RN licensure is required, with BLS and Epic EMR experience preferred.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of medical oncology experience, outpatient/triage background, and is comfortable in a high-volume breast medical oncology setting. Nurses must bring their own stethoscope; travel options may apply.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
- BLS certification required; OCN certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of medical oncology nursing experience required.
- Outpatient and triage experience required.
- Surgical oncology experience preferred but not required.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- Candidates must bring their own stethoscope.
Responsibilities
- Treat adult medical and surgical oncology patients in an outpatient clinic.
- Manage an average daily census of 25 patients across 10 rooms/beds.
- Work 4x10 hour day shifts: Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM.
- No call, no float, no weekend requirements.
- Procedures may include bone marrow biopsies or in-office port removals/biopsies.
- Triages patient calls, relays lab results, and supports in-clinic visits.
