Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) for a 13-week assignment in Worcester, MA. The OTA will work under an OT to help patients improve daily living skills, with a 40-hour workweek and days shift.

Requires 1 year of OTA experience, BLS, NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure, with potential travel stipends. Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic activities, monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and educating patients and families on independence

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT aide experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• NBCOT (COTA) certification is required.
• State licensure is required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises and mobility training.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence.
