Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) for a 13-week assignment in Towson, Maryland. The OTA will work under an OT, delivering therapies, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes to support individualized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of OTA experience, a current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification, and state licensure. This travel role requires 30 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and the ability to lift and assist patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Must hold a current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification.
• State-specific licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions under the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care.
