Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a 13-week assignment in Olympia, Washington. The OT will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, providing therapeutic activities and reporting progress.

The role requires 1 year of OTA experience, current BLS, and NBCOT (COTA) certification, with WA licensure. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, educating patients, and collaborating with the care team

Qualifications

• 1 year of OTA experience required.
• Current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification required.
• WA state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT for treatment adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and timely per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care.
• Comply with licensing rules and professional standards.
