American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting in the Athens area, serving pediatric and adult patients on a 1:1 basis. The role follows a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 37.5 hours weekly and alternating weekend rotations.

Requirements include an active TN OT license and BLS, with a minimum of 2 years outpatient OT experience. Travel eligibility requires residing 60 miles or more from the facility and no recent permanent LifePoint employment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting serving pediatric and adult patients on a 1:1 basis
• Day shift 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 37.5
• Weekend rotation on an every-other basis
• Float requirements include outpatient adult/pediatrics and minimal acute hospital support as needed
• No call requirements
• Treat diverse diagnoses including musculoskeletal, neuro (CVA, Parkinson's), and pediatric developmental delays and autism
• Part of a 2 hospital system serving the Athens and Etowah community
• Work under supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services
• Scrubs of any color acceptable, professional appearance required
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
