Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serve as a resource to staff regarding quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatments per policy; follow physician orders.
• Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency staff.
• Assess work performance of nursing staff relative to standards and goals.
• Conduct regular staff meetings each shift and provide updates to DON.
