Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our care team. This role travels between Grove City and Cranberry Office to deliver specialty and chronic condition care in physician offices and non-acute settings.

The NP will record health histories, develop treatment plans, order tests, interpret results, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes. Telehealth and e-consults may be included.

Qualifications

• Master's degree MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program.
• National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through an accredited association.
• Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including medical history, physical assessment, and treatment planning in physician offices and non-acute settings (30%).
• Collaborates with attending physician on plan of care and manages clinical decisions within scope (15%).
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to determine treatment plans (15%).
• Educates patients and families based on age and culture (10%).
• Ensures accurate EMR documentation for coding and billing (10%).
• Maintains continuing education and participates in safety and quality initiatives (10%).
• Performs other duties as assigned (10%).
