Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver specialty and critical care healthcare services in physician offices and non-acute settings, focusing on chronic conditions across populations. Travel 1–2 days weekly to satellite offices may be required.

Position requires MSN, NP certification, and active licensure; prescriptive authority within 60 days; DEA license within 60 days; CPR; and mandatory background clearances.

Qualifikationen

Master's degree MSN and national NP certification are required.
Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
Prescriptive Authority from the practicing state within 60 days of hire.
DEA licensure within 60 days of hire.
CPR - American Heart Association.
Act 33/Act 34/Act 73 background clearances required.

Aufgaben

Provides patient care including history, physicals, and therapy plans.
Communicates with attending physician for plan of care and clinical decisions.
Orders and interprets labs and diagnostics; develops treatment plans.
Educates patients and families; covers health and preventive guidance.
Ensures accurate EMR documentation for coding and billing.
Participates in patient safety, quality improvement, and ongoing education.

Ausbildung

Master's degree MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program

National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through an accredited association

Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
