You will perform exams, order labs, prescribe medications, and contribute to patient education and follow-up. Requires a Master’s in Nursing, NP certification, and an active RN license in the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Master’s in Nursing and NP certification.
• Current RN license and Nurse Practitioner licensure in the practicing state.
• Minimum two years of RN experience in healthcare.
• Excellent communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills; fluent English.
• Frequent travel and strong computer literacy are required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and medical histories for residents/clients.
• Makes independent decisions regarding management and treatment of medical problems.
• Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory tests for screening and diagnosis.
• Prescribes medications and other treatments as appropriate.
• Provides health education, counseling, and follow-up planning.
• Coordinates care with other healthcare providers and referrals.
