Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery to work the nights shift (7p-7a) in Florida. Start ASAP for a 13-week assignment.

Candidates must have at least two prior travel assignments with L&D postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby experience and be ACLS, BLS, NRP, NIHSS certified. AHCA requirement for FL placements.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 prior travel assignments.
• Experience in L&D postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby.
• Flexible to float to other units as facility needs apply.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal obstetrical care using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain competency through continuing education and supervise assigned personnel.

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
