Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel L&D RN for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, NM. Start is ASAP and shifts are Days, 6:30a–7p. The role requires 2+ years of obstetric RN experience and active ACLS/BLS/NRP certification.

You will care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients, ensuring safe delivery and applying the nursing process in accordance with state regulations.

Number of beds: 1 Triage, 3 Labor, 4 Post-Partum

LDRP provides nursing care to antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mom and baby), and special care nursery babies, nursery.

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
