Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in a hospital setting. Shifts include Days and Nights with alternating weekends; travel is required for facilities within a 50+ mile radius.

The role requires BLS, ACLS, NRP and Mississippi RN license, plus L&D experience. You will provide antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum and neonatal care using the Nursing Process and maintain competencies through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
• Mississippi RN license required.
• L&D experience required.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
