Shift: NIGHTS 7p-7a

Requirements: Must have at least 2 prior travel assignments, experience in L&D postpartum, nursery, Mother/Baby. Flexible to float to other units as needed by the facility.

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This includes utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care tasks appropriately based on staff education and experience, and provides supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
