American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Oregon. The role includes hospital-based work, no on-call duties, and requires licensure or active license application with fingerprinting.

Responsibilities include performing nuclear medicine procedures, floating across sites as needed, and completing required education promptly. See policy on shift cancellations and RTO limits.

• Must float within the site and across the health system as requested.
• Complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment.
• Adhere to cancellation policy with 1.5 hours notice for low census.

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB certification and 1+ years of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (N) certification required
• Active Oregon state license required, or proof of license application and fingerprinting (license required if applicable)
• One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine department within a hospital setting
• 4x8 hour day shifts, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Must work scheduled shift if it falls on a holiday
• Required to float within the site and across the health system as requested
• Must complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
• Low census mandatory cancellation policy requires notice 1.5 hours before shift start
• May be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All compliance documentation must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the start date
• No felony convictions accepted; any background hits require a traveler explanation statement and waiver/approval documentation
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local travelers are not accepted and candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the health system
• First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or excluded
