Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, Texas. The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them to patients, and then image with a scanner under radiologist supervision.

Requirements include 1 year of experience, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, BLS, and state licensing where required. The role involves standing for long periods and adhering to strict safety and record-keeping protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an NMT (travel preferred).
• Must have ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification and BLS.
• State licensing as required where assignment occurs.
• Ability to stand long periods and handle radiopharmaceuticals safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera for imaging.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures.
• Position and prep patients for procedures and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS systems.
• Follow radiation safety and disposal procedures at all times.
