Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Houston, TX. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate the imaging equipment, and assist radiologists while ensuring radiation safety.

Requirements include 1 year of NMT experience, BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB-CNMT, and state licensing as applicable. The role offers 40 hours weekly, with a tax-free stipend and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Current BLS, ARRT (N) and NMTCB-CNMT certifications.
• State-specific license when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
• Operate the imaging scanner or gamma camera.
• Position patients and provide assistance during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety standards.
