Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Denton, TX. The position runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, on daytime shifts. Immediate start is planned and ARRT (N) / NMTCB-CNMT certifications are required, with appropriate licensure as needed.

The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and assist physicians while ensuring patient safety and accurate recordkeeping throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• BLS, ARRT (N) and NMTCB-CNMT certifications required.
• State licensure when required.
• Stand/walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiopharmaceutical safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient records and safety protocols.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures.
