Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Current Texas Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address questions.
• Maintain and report malfunctions of nuclear medicine equipment.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate medical imaging equipment to produce images.
• Document procedure details in patient records.
• Follow hospital safety rules and radiation procedures.
