Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a Level II NICU position on the night shift. Requires at least 1 year of experience and active certifications (BLS, RRT, ACLS, PALS). A compact license in hand is preferred if applicable.

The role involves a 3x12 night schedule (18:30–7:00) in a community hospital, with potential overtime and occasional float to nearby Providence facilities. First-time travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active BLS, RRT, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
• Community hospital experience required.
• NICU experience preferred but not required.
• Compact license must be in hand at submission; license if applicable.
• Proficient in airway management including intubation assist, extubation and tracheostomy care.
• Experience with ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, weaning).
• Experience with oxygen therapy including high-flow nasal cannula and trach collar.
• Two professional references covering 1 year within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Level II NICU within a community hospital.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00.
• No on-call required; overtime shifts may be available.
• Epic EMR experience is preferred.
• May float between sister Providence facilities near contracted site.
• First-time travelers accepted.
