American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/PICU night shift position. The role requires 1.5 years combined NICU Level III and PICU experience, New Jersey license, RRT certification, BLS/NRP/PALS, and Epic charting experience.

Work in a Level IV NICU with Special Care Nursery, PICU, and 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department at an academic pediatric medical campus. Night shift is 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30) with every other weekend; you may float within NICU, PICU,

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey license required
• RRT certification required (CRT not accepted)
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1.5 years combined NICU Level III and PICU Level III experience
• Epic charting experience required

Responsibilities

• Work within a Level IV NICU with Special Care Nursery, PICU, and 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department at an academic pediatric medical campus
• Designated Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Must float within NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, and Peds ED across skill set
• Epic EMR required
• Performs high-risk delivery assistance and neonatal transports
• Utilizes apnea monitors and ventilation support devices
• Provides respiratory care across NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, and Pediatric ED
• Participates in interdepartmental and ambulance transports
• May require on-call coverage during winter holidays
