Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Neuro ICU RN for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. This position requires a valid RN license, an accredited nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and at least 18 months of recent Neuro ICU acute care experience.

Travel RN duties include managing critical care patients, providing education to families, and ensuring life support equipment functions properly. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with a 36-hour week and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper operation of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor vital signs and respond to signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
