Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Portage, Wisconsin. This assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and night shifts. Requires an active RN license, nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of ICU experience.

Qualifications
- Active RN license required.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- At least 18 months of recent ICU experience in acute care.
- Travel assignment specifics may be determined by the client facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
- Ensure life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes) functions properly.
- Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
- Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
- Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid condition changes.
- Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
