Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Neuro ICU in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires Level 1 trauma experience, EVD monitoring, and proficiency with ICP assessments. The nurse will work 12-hour days in a 32-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and float to telemetry units.

Applicants must have a current AZ RN license, 2+ years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and travel RN experience. Housing stipends and per diem benefits accompany the travel assignment;

Qualifications

• Active AZ RN license current at consideration.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a large facility.
• Travel RN experience required; first-time travelers not considered.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with EVD monitoring and ICP monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Care for Neuro ICU patients in a 32-bed unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Float to telemetry units; use Cerner EMR and Phillips monitors.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
• Complete orientation including Foley catheter and central line procedures.
