The Neuro ICU RN will provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and post-operative neurosurgical cases.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patients’ neurological status, vital signs, and hemodynamics
• Administer medications, including IV drips and sedation, following protocols
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment (e.g., ventilators, ICP monitors)
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
• Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations.

Shift & Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Night Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
