Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. seeks Level II RT and Level II MT, PT, UTT technicians willing to travel for projects and turnarounds as needed. This role requires certification to Level II or Level II with sufficient field hours, and adherence to SNT-TC1A.

You will set up, test, document results, and guide trainees while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Ideal candidates are physically capable, able to work outdoors in plant environments, and comfortable with variable travel schedules.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UTT.
• Prior Level II certification with 1 year field experience or Level I with adequate hours to certify to Level II.
• Ability to interpret data, problems solving, and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Familiar with codes, standards and contractual documents.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Obtain and analyze information.
• Edit and present numerical data effectively.
