Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is hiring dedicated Level II technicians in Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT), and PMI. The role requires travel to various sites and assignments on projects and turnarounds.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating equipment, performing tests, interpreting results, and directing trainees. Strong emphasis on safety, codes, and documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC-1A requirements for MT/PT/UT.
• Prior Level II certification with one year of experience, or Level I with adequate field hours to qualify for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
• Conduct tests using Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT), or PMI.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel as required.
• Maintain familiarity with codes, standards, and contractual documents governing the applicable NDT method.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
