Job summary

Advatix Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Atlanta, GA. The role requires performing MRI exams, ensuring patient safety, and selecting imaging protocols in a busy clinical MRI department.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT-MRI, AHA BLS, and have at least 2 years of MRI experience with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Weekend overnight shifts and travel eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Current ARRT-MRI credential.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Willing to travel for 13-week assignment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced MRI department.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and determine exam requirements.
• Screen patients for MRI contraindications and ensure safety.
• Explain MRI procedures and administer IV contrast when required.
• Select pads, coils, and positioning based on exam needs.
• Set and adjust MRI protocols and scan parameters.
• Monitor images and ensure diagnostic-quality studies.
• Organize images and transfer to PACS.
• Enter patient charges into the system.
• Assist with minor MRI equipment maintenance and training.
• Maintain a safe MRI environment and report safety concerns.
