The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, TMB licensure, and BLS, with 1–2 years of MRI experience.

Bill Rate: $85/Hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join a high-performing Radiology team for a 13-week travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MRI professional who is passionate about providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining exceptional patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on MRI experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Verify patient information, clinical history, and examination orders.
• Screen patients for MRI safety risks, contraindications, and implanted devices.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to any concerns.
• Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety protocols and infection‑control standards.
• Recognize and report imaging or equipment concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the HMS EMR system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide compassionate care and maintain patient dignity throughout every examination.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 13‑week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
• No call
• No 48‑hour option
• No block scheduling
• No floating

Requirements

• ARRT certification – Required
• TMB – Required
• BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required

• Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
