Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an MRI Technologist to work as a lone technologist on a mobile MRI unit in Morgantown, WV. The role requires 1+ year of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, with WV MRI license if applicable.

You will operate in an acute care setting, perform brain, spine, MRA, body and MSK studies, and collaborate with on-site radiologists. Schedule features 2x12 hour day shifts per week, no weekend or on-call requirements, and local housing/relocation support

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• WV MRI license required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs
• Strong physician communication skills required
• Must be comfortable working independently as a lone technologist

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting working as a mobile MRI unit for a neuroscience institute
• Single scanner room with Siemens equipment
• Performs brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and MSK (long bone, joints) imaging studies
• Average of 14 scans/studies per day
• Uses EPIC EMR and Fuji PACS systems
• 2x12 hour day shifts per week scheduled Monday-Friday between 6:45am-7:15pm
• No floating to other areas required
• No weekend, holiday, or call/standby requirements
• Radiologist on-site with Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech support
• Staffing model includes 1 Tech with 2 TAs
• Responsible for performing MRI studies across multiple body systems including brain, spine, MRA, body, and MSK imaging
• Works closely with on-site radiologist and supervisory support
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling offered
• Grey scrubs required but not provided
• New mobile unit setup, with opportunity to help establish operations
• Local candidates not accepted due to radius requirements
