Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist to oversee workflow, scheduling, and safety governance in a radiology satellite unit. The role requires 1+ years of MRI experience and ARRT/ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities include supervising MRI operations, coordinating staffing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Day shift 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call rotation 3–4 nights per week; GE MRI, Epic, and Change PACS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MRI satellite unit workflow and scheduling.
• Lead regulatory oversight and high-risk safety governance.
• Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• On-call coverage split among team members, 3-4 nights per week.
• Holiday coverage required for on-call only, on a rotating basis.
• Uses GE MRI machines, Epic, and Change PACS systems.
