Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Days MRI Technologist for a 26-week assignment at a teaching hospital. Position requires 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification, plus BLS and GE equipment proficiency.

The role includes weekday day shifts, on-site work in a 298-bed teaching hospital, and potential on-call duties. Travel housing allowance and licensure/reimbursement benefits are offered. Must reside >50 miles away.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• ARRT MR certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• License required if applicable
• MRI skills checklist current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference within past two years required

Responsibilities

• Radiology department in a 298-bed teaching hospital.
• Mon-Fri day shift, 6:30/7:00 AM to 3:00/3:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
• Approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Work alongside another tech aide or MRI tech, never solo.
• Overnight coverage after midnight handled by on-call staff.
• No regular weekend requirement, but holiday coverage and occasional weekend/evening work may be needed.
• Possible on-call requirement.
• Use GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of application and cannot exceed 5 days.
• Scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission; changes after offer may rescind offer
