Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and ER experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Hospitals rely on your MRI and X-ray skills across radiology and cardiology; you will work 3x12 hour nights, with no on-call, and may float to related facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required.
• BLS and ARRT MR certification required.
• Washington state license required; license required if applicable.
• Pending license accepted at time of submission.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts.
• Skilled in abdominal MRA, pelvis imaging, and MR cardiac imaging with/without contrast.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based MRI Tech role in the Radiology/Cardiology department.
• ER patient population experience required.
• Performs MRI procedures including abdomen and pelvis, brain, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac imaging with/without contrast.
• Also performs X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies.
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment and Epic EMR.
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with set consecutive nights.
• No on-call required.
• May be required to float between sister facilities.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract rate.
• Previous Providence facility staff may return after 3 months but must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront with the application and must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start.
