Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a radiology department night shift assignment. The role requires ARRT and MR registration, BLS certification, and significant imaging experience in a 185-bed hospital setting.

Responsibilities include MSK, neuro, and other MRI procedures, with Epic and McKesson PACS in use. Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a focus on high-quality imaging across a 1:1 patient ratio.

Qualifications

• ARRT and MR registration required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.

• Mon-Thu overnight shift from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and high-quality imaging focus
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting within a 185-bed hospital
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Equipment includes GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner
• EMR/PACS systems include Epic and McKesson PACS
• Procedures performed include MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia, and pacemaker-compatible imaging
• Mon-Thu overnight shift from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No floating required
• Team includes 2 PRN staff and 1 cross-training technologist, with recruitment underway for an MRI lead and additional tech
• Dress code requires grey or pewter scrubs
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
