Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Alabama. ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience are required; BLS is required, ACLS preferred.

Licensure must be current if applicable, and experience with MRA/MRV/MRCP is expected. You will perform a broad range of MRI studies on Philips and Siemens systems, covering adult and pediatric cases, with a 7:00 PM–3:30 AM schedule and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years MRI Technologist experience.
ARRT MR and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
License required if applicable.
Experience performing MRA, MRV and MRCP studies.
Experience with contrast media prep and administration.
Experience starting peripheral IVs and PPE protocols.
Trauma Level II experience preferred.
Experience in large healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

Work in the MRI department performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Patient population includes adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/trauma, pediatric care.
Performs MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, MSK, cardiovascular.
Utilizes Philips and Siemens MRI equipment.
5x8 night shift: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM.
No on-call requirements.
First-time travelers will be considered.
Facility requires address at least 90 miles away; locals not eligible.
Prior staff cannot return for 10 years after separation.
RTO limited to 2 requests per contract.
Travelers on successive contracts require a 6-month break unless exceptions apply.
Pre-start orientation modules required.

Requirements

ARRT MR and BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
License required if applicable
Experience performing MRA, MRV, and MRCP studies
Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
Experience starting peripheral IVs and following isolation precautions/PPE protocols
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Experience in large healthcare facility settings required
Must provide two professional references and permanent address at time of consideration
