Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in New Port Richey, FL. You will operate MRI scanners, interact with patients, administer contrast as needed, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

The role requires an MRI-focused radiology program, 1 year of MRI experience, and current state license with BLS. Travel-friendly benefits and dedicated clinical support are provided.

Formación

• Successful completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• One year of experience as an MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilidades

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications per protocol.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for functionality.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters as needed.
• Document imaging details and patient observations per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in infection control standards.
• Follow hospital safety, infection control, and radiation safety rules.
• Perform other duties within MRI Technologist scope.
