Qualifications

• Completion of a radiology program with MRI specialization.
• Minimum one year of experience as an MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications per policy.
• Educate patients about the MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment for quality imaging.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as ordered, monitor for reactions.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters as needed.
• Document imaging details per hospital standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain a clean, organized imaging suite and follow safety rules.
