Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety before procedures.
• Educate patients about MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Administer IV contrast per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for best results.
• Document procedure details in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results.
