Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Titusville, FL. The role involves performing MRI imaging, coordinating with radiology staff, and ensuring patient safety throughout the scanning process.

Requirements include MRI specialization, 1 year of experience, a valid MRI license, and BLS. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• Radiology program with MRI specialization completed.
• One year of MRI Tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications before procedures.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and address questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment; report malfunctions.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document procedure details per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per infection control policies.
• Follow hospital safety rules including radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned within MRI Technologist scope.
