Qualifications

• Valid state radiology registration required by state law.
• At least 18 months of MRI technologist experience, preferably in a critical-care setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety around the MRI scanner.
• Position patients and coils on the scanner table.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters, operate the scanner, and monitor image data.
• Recognize normal versus abnormal images.
• Respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Promote a safe work environment and uphold patient-safety initiatives.
