Qualifications

• Registered Technologist (RT) registration by ARRT required.
• MRI certification by ARRT within 2 years is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain medical history and ensure exam accuracy.
• Post-process images and document billing codes.
• Perform quality assurance tests and report equipment issues.

Skills

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Competence in IV and venipuncture

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently

Intermediate computer skills

Education

Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
