Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The candidate will work 8-hour days, 40 hours per week, on a 13-week assignment, with opportunities in a friendly, professional environment.

We value experienced MRI technologists with licensure in the state, BLS, and strong patient safety skills. Maintenance of high-quality imaging and effective communication with patients and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Technologist (≥20 hrs/week).
• Licensed in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and one-on-one presentation skills.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience; EP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Perform patient positioning and communication during procedures.
• Manage scan sequences and data entry.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Mentor new hires and trainees.
