Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Little Rock, AR. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will operate MRI scanners, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Requirements include MRI program specialization, ARRT/ARMRIT certifications preferred, valid radiology license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• One year of experience as MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedures.
• Educate patients about the MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters as needed.
• Document procedure details in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure timely results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow infection control.
