Medix is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Little Rock, AR. The role places you in a modern ER and inpatient unit, performing MRI scans, ensuring accurate imaging, and maintaining patient safety.

Expect a manageable daily volume of 7–15 patients and a competitive compensation package, including a travel weekly package or local hourly rate. The position requires ARRT, BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred).
• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Life Support: BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year hospital/clinical MRI experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients and equipment, perform MRI scans, ensure accurate positioning and high-quality imaging.
• Explain scan procedures and address patient questions; screen for safety; administer contrast as ordered.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Document patient data using EHR systems (GoRev / Clinigence Health).
• Maintain competencies and participate in quality assurance and departmental audits.
