Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. You will operate MRI scanners, work with the radiology team, and ensure patient safety throughout imaging procedures.

The role requires completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization, one year of MRI experience, an active Radiology/MRI license, and current BLS. Travel benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and dedicated clinical support.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• One year of experience as MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
• Educate patients about MRI procedure.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per orders.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters.
• Document all procedure details in hospital systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Follow hospital safety and radiation safety protocols.
