Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Roanoke Rapids, NC is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. The role requires ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and 1 year of MRI experience. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure safety, prepare patients, and operate PACS systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• State licensing as required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure patient comfort.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Load and operate contrast administration equipment.
• Evaluate MRI image quality and label appropriately.
