Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for an assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with applicable state licensing.

The position is travel-based with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week on a 12-hour daytime shift. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, ensuring image quality, and preparing patients for procedures while following safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and state licensing if required.

Responsibilities

• Explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain consent where appropriate.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure patient safety.
• Assist radiologist with MRI procedures and prepare contrast administration.
• Load and operate injectors for contrast media and monitor imaging quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use the PACS system.
