Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role requires ARRT registry, state licensure as applicable, and 18 months MRI experience, preferably in critical care. Travel status with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and protocols to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient and staff safety around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils on the scanner table.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
