Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a MRI Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration. You will work 40 hours/week on 14-hour day shifts and support radiologists with imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities include patient prep, safety screening, image acquisition, and documentation. Travel positions require flexibility and adherence to MR safety protocols and CPR standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration; state licensing if required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans with immobilization and safety equipment.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and label results.
• Operate power injectors for contrast.
• Maintain patient records and use McKesson PACS.
