Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a Lakeland, Florida assignment. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with state licensing as needed. The position runs 12 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MRI experience.
• BLS required and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State licensing as required for location.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to the procedure.
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure safety.
• Assist radiologist with procedure performance.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI image quality and label appropriately.
• Load and operate contrast injectors.
• Follow safety procedures with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
