About The Position

Essential Functions of the Role

1. Quality Assurance: Performs high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT) according to exam protocols. Evaluates imaging quality, maintains equipment through quality control, and collaborates with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operation.
2. Caring Practices: Communicates effectively with patients to identify needs, ensure correct exams, and establish rapport. Instructs patients and families about procedures, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
3. Patient Safety: Explains procedures to patients, adheres to safety and infection-control protocols, prepares patients and equipment, and uses sterile techniques when necessary.
4. Key Success Factors: Observes and communicates patient condition changes, provides timely and accurate services, maintains professionalism under stress, and ensures patient satisfaction.
5. Training and Compliance: Trains new team members, adheres to policies and workflows, and maintains system proficiency including PACS, EMR, and record management.
6. Additional Skills: General computer skills, ability to take call if required.
